An Atheist Manifesto:
I do not follow any religion; salvation is not something I yearn for in a spiritual sense. I only wish to live a good life as honest as I can and be as good to others as I would wish them to be towards me. I do this without fear of being persecuted for not. That is my point of salvation. Any god who would condemn me, let them judge and should they decide that I have not prayed enough, dedicated enough or believed enough in their name… then they shall be right and I would have them do their worse. In this life, however I will continue to be as righteous as my reason and wit can conjure. It is a heartfelt belief that I am the only one who has seen my life through my eyes and thus cannot be judged by any other than myself and on my own deathbed in retrospect, I can only hope to not disappoint myself in my final hours.

there’s an ocean between us
thousands of winding
miles separate us
but each night i wish up
on every star that you
would leave your windows
open so the kisses i hung
in the sea breeze would come
to you each morn you awake
and each night ‘fore you
go to sleep.Posted on February 27, 2012 via with 158 notes

Looking as if it fell from the sky, a 40-ton erratic stands on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington State. Such boulders are sometimes called rubbing stones because bison scratched up against them. Photo: Fritz Hoffmann

Marilyn Monroe and Sammy Davis Jr. I just bought this print! It reminds me of how awesome these two people were, in their times they were the coolest and classiest people on earth.
